Anurag is a solar energy expert and brings to this position over 25 years of experience in the field of energy and infrastructure. He is associated with the solar industry since the beginning. He is reckoned in the industry with his highly efficient and cost-effective energy solutions. Anurag is a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.

He has been trained in off-grid /grid-connected solar inverter at Hanover Messe, String Monitoring system in Germany, Electronic interlocking system at Nippon Signal, Japan, and Nissin Densetsu, Japan.

He has developed solar solutions for Indian Railways Communication division, he has also served in Power and Telecom sectors and led the design & development team (telecom - passive infrastructure). He participated in the initial phase of reverse tariff bidding conducted under the National Solar Mission (NSM) and secured a project of 11 MW capacity in 2010-11, one of the first few solar projects in India.

 

Anurag was the Promoter Director of SunShine Technocon Pvt. Ltd and is currently the CEO of SunAura Technologies; he has led the design and engineering of various first of its kind projects such as wind-solar hybrid, energy storage, and solar-energy storage hybrid and large scale rooftop solar PV aggregation programs in multiple Indian states.

He has served Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Telecommunications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Defence, State Nodal Agencies for renewable energy like NREDCAP (Andhra Pradesh), HAREDA (Haryana), UPNEDA (Uttar Pradesh), PEDA (Punjab), KREDL (Karnataka), CREDA (Chhattisgarh), he has worked in close association with various central and state PSUs such as SECI, IREDA, BSES, NTPC, CEL, BHEL, REIL, IOCL, and BSNL and various international Governments - Bangladesh, Ghana, Bhutan and Nepal.

Over the years, he has developed working relationships with various solar project developers such as Renew, ACME, Tata Power, Gamesa, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Amplus, Phoenix Contact, etc. He is very well connected with the solar PV module and inverter manufacturers and Installation & Commissioning service providers.
