Consultancy services for 600 MW+ Wind-solar hybrid projects to NTPC and SECI in India, and Power Cell Bangladesh.

Under USAID PACE-D TA, we have provided design and engineering consultancy to NTPC to develop large scale Wind-solar hybrid projects in India. The services involved site assessment, design and engineering, tariff modelling and vendor’s engineering and bidding approach. The engineering and design involved land optimization of solar and wind installation, shadow analysis and maximize generation based on least LCOE from the hybrid plant. Along with this, a generic design approach and, metering and measurement methodology was developed.

We conducted detailed feasibility study for development of utility scale wind-solar hybrid power projects in Bangladesh along with additional land usage for livelihood activities under the World Bank TA Program. The wind-solar hybrid project of ~200 MW capacity in Bangladesh comprised site identification and assessment, design and engineering, tariff modelling, ESIA, rehabilitation plan development, livelihood generation assessment along with the wind-solar hybrid park. In livelihood generation assessment fisheries were identified as most suitable and profitable trade.

We have conducted detailed feasibility study for development of utility scale wind-solar hybrid power projects in Rajasthan, India for SECI under the World Bank TA Program. The study also focused on various applications and sizing of battery energy storage system (BESS) coupled with the Wind-solar hybrid project.
